How do I assign an employee a benefit accrual?

 
  1. Select Employees from the navigation list.
  2. Choose the employee you want to work with from the list.
  3. Go to the Benefit Accruals tab .
  4. Using the drop down menu, select the desired accrual setting; Use Pay Class SettingsClosedSelect this option to calculate the employees accruals based on the policies assigned to the pay class, Do Not Use AccrualsClosedSelect this option to disable benefit accruals for the employee or Override Pay Class SettingsClosedSelect this option to assign benefit accruals directly to the employee.
  5. If Override Pay Class Settings is selected, choose the desired benefit accrual policy from the list under each pay code name.
  6. Once complete select Save.
